UHASUHAS Frets: 137
edited June 2023 in Guitars £
I think we all know the quality in these guitars and the master builder history behind it, so I won't go though it again. Bought this as a lockdown project and its served its purpose, lets start with the negatives. Its been routed ( not particularly well, but does the job) for a humbucker in the bridge, It doesn't have the original pickups , but does come with two Dimarzio's ( one an air Norton, )and a SD, worth a good few bob if I parted it out. And finally the scratchplate has some quick connects fitted, just for the ease of change of PU's etc. There's one noticeable ding on the guitar front, but even thats not obtrusive. The good side is the frets are in great condition overall apart from the ding on the front its a great guitar, It plays well and sounds monstrous, but it's had its time with me and now needs a new home.
Here's the original spec, but please note from above what's changed, check the pics because what you see is what you get £+ £25 Shipping. It'll have a gig bag and be well packed, or I can remove the neck and ship that way?

Fender Brad Paisley Esquire £800 Now Sold

Another to go, the pick guard was swopped out for black but the original is here and can be put back on,  apart from that it's as I got it. Its light , resonant and the neck is a joy, however I have a need for humbuckers more than single coils - at the moment ! Hardly any playtime on this

  • Is the tele actually routed for a neck pickup?

Is the tele actually routed for a neck pickup?
The BP Esquire has a hidden neck pickup as stock.
A fairly vain idea but it does sound really good. No twang all the way down there but it’s super smooth and likes to be driven too.

I had one of these and really loved it. Amazing finish on the body and neck, very full neck carve, really really light and fabulous sounding pickups. Only sold it because I bought an SC Relics thinline in blue paisley which is next level CS incredible and  finances didn’t let me keep both.
