It wasn't really before though.

Getting this accurate has taken days.
The cloud in particular was a bugger.
We used 6 cleats per pair of traps- the right traps are attached to the left ones with a coupling bar.
The cloud is solid as a rock.

But it is coming together slowly.
Yes, I know the speakers are too wide- this is to make cabling everything easier for now.

I'm down to the fiddly stuff now- running audio cables through walls and skirting cavities.
So far the acoustic isolation between the two rooms is fantastic.

Still running cables.
Yes, a month later.
But getting close now.
I need to figure out what I am doing with monitoring.
The ATC's are too wide with the Kii's in the correct position.
Cutting down to one pair of monitors is always an option but I am disinclined to do that.
The ATC's, being horizontal, are tricky to place if you have any other large monitors in the room.
I could sell them and go up to SCM50's, which are vertical, but that would be another big pile o money.
Also maybe a bit too big for the room.
Still need to think.
The modular desk is brilliant, it is a new design from Buso Audio who also made the main desk.
In terms of room sound- it is so much better than before, as you might expect.

Wiz'd.
So hanging those panels was a right faff.
They were put up in pairs- you can see in the photo that we used 3 support brackets per pair.
This is because they are all bolted together using a flat piece of metal as a coupling bracket.
It took over a full day just to hang those 8 panels, with 3 of us onsite.

The only thing that is changing is I'm adding the BXT bass modules for the Kii Three monitors.

The left hand window is a little frustrating but all rooms have their challenges! Notice you don't have a great deal of diffusion going on and lots of broadband absorption. floor finish obviously helps but be interested in what the RT20 looks like across the spectrum.
Do you have any low end mode issues you've had to target with pressure based treatment (or intend to)?
Most importantly how does the room feel? What's the imaging like?
Do you have any REW before/afters?
I'd love to have a listen
