...live clips of bands/artists you would never usually give the time of day, or guilty/secret pleasures.
here's mine to start, I think think this is great, the formula probably is:
(pretty good throwaway pop song + great vocal performance + benefit of a great live band + intimate setting) - obvious cheesiness = I likes it.

My guilty pleasure is Korean indie/singer-songwriters. and I don't mean awful K-Pop.
The quality of song writing, performance and recording is extraordinary. Probably down to their strong education and work ethic. If you can look past the language barrier (and Korean is a beautiful language) and listen to the music you'll be amazed.
Park Sae Byul (박새별) is one of my favourite songwriters and she is capable of harmonic composition that Quincy Jones would be blown away by.
Check out: "Things disappear" from her new album... a real Pat Metheny vibe going on:
And 'Is This Love'.. Her vocal harmony arrangements that kick in as the song progresses are just bloody amazing!
Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
Any of his own stuff bores me and people covering Radiohead on YouTube usually irritates me, but somehow this works -
