I've reached a silly number of guitars and I've decided to thin. These two aren't on the block because they're not sensational, but because I have private stock versions of both guitars and having 2 of the same model is an extravagance. I may be listing a few other high end guitars soon and it's not impossible I'll change my mind on these.
I'm looking for £4k firm for either guitar. This prices them below core models. No trades please. Collection from Chatham, Kent, postage absolutely fine - they'll be well packed and insured by secursus.
They'll be here until the next eBay 80% off.
On Hold- MEV First - The best and most versatile guitar ever made by PRS and I'm talking from a position of having owned (ahem) a few. 17 pickup combinations - the only guitar you'll ever need. It can do Strat, tele, p90, humbucker. The lot. Originally a private stock model - this is a very very special MEV because it matches the original private stock spec - stained flamed maple neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, additional switch to move from 250 to 500k pots. You can't get any of this in a core model or a Brazilian board in the UK. The colour is Boyd burst and a very very fine 10 top- named after a PRS employee. I got it from Squealing Pigs on the day it came into stock - they're listing these at £5,899 now. The guitar is in unplayed condition.

It's the guitar that when I post pics of my PRS Guitars, everyone always comments on this one. It's a Peach limited run - ebony fingerboard, roasted flame maple neck with open pore finish (the first time PRS allowed this outside of private stock), quilted top in a sort of violet/blue wrap. The guitar came into Peach on the day I acquired it - original listing here with Jack playing it.
https://www.peachguitars.com/prs-wood-library-special-semi-hollow-custom-colour-quilt-w-flame-maple-neck.htmThis is a 9.5/10 - in the right light, there's some light pick scratches to the top. It's really only if you catch it at the right angle in the right light and nothing to put anyone off. It's a sensational guitar, basically a budget Super Eagle. Ridiculously versatile and one of the best models ever made by PRS - it's got a slightly softer sound than the MEV.

Selling this as a I have a Broadcaster and slightly prefer the neck.
Great spec this one and part of a limited run.
It's got the proper U 51 neck - 1 inch thick. Properly large, Still very playable.
6105 frets, 9.5 radius (which is what makes it playable)
Handwound Nocaster in the bridge, Texas Special in the neck (more stratty, but really well balanced and very good.
Looking for 3k Firm

Seen others from that run with heavier relicing that are maybe a bit over the top. This one is spot on. Tempting!
Youre right that the heavy relics are hardest to get right. Even some of the master builders do really horrid heavy relics. They’ve got this one really right, plus I think the days of lightweight ash nocasters, even in the custom shop, are behind us.

You have such lovely guitars always...
