FS: Gretsch White Falcon (sold) & Rickenbacker 330 Jetgo

Hi All,

I'm selling a few guitars after a recent new purchase, unfortunatley I can't keep everything so have decided to let these go. Please have a read through and let me know if anything is of interest or if i can help with any questions.

White Falcon 6136 55' reissue from 2016 - £2650 (SOLD)

I tried about 6 different Falcons before picking this one. It has a lovely medium profile neck which I feel is often hard to fInd on a Gretch. It's 0.84' at first fret and fills the hand in a really satisfying way. The uplugged tone is really resonant and well balanced. Plugged in the dynas sound fantastic. There are no marks or sctratches to report and I'd say the guitar is in excellent almost new condition. The only sign of ageing is that the the colour is more off white, but I think this is a plus as it's not that 'fresh from the dentist white' that these can sometimes be.

Currently has the synchro bridge but I do have a Tru-Arc Copper Serpentune bridge worth £145 that I can include for an extra £50. I like both birdges and both sound great, although I'd say the Tru-Arc is alot comfier for palm muting. I can set up with either before selling.

It is possible that this is a vintage select 55 reisue going of the year and spec, but the label inside says only 6136 so I am not totally sure. If anyone knows then feel free to let me know.

Rckenbacker 330 in Jetglo from 2015 - £1550

This one has a great medium profile neck of around 0.85' at first fret. The pickups sound great, IMO they sound abit beefier than some of the early 2000's Ricks I've tred but they still have all the chime and jangle. The fretboard has a lovely dark cherry red tint to it and is darker in person than in these photos. Electrics all work as they should and the guitar plays really nicely.

There is definety some player wear, light scratches and chips to the laquer in varuous places. Mainly on the edges of the body and back edge of the headstock. The laquer also has very subtle checking which give it a vintage worn in feel which I personally prefer over brand new guitars. Either way in person the wear is not espeically noticable unless you go looking for it. Please check the photos carefully.
