WTB a modestly priced telecaster (now sorted)
What's Hot
I’m after something tele-shaped but I don't want to stress about it when there's a toddler on the loose so I was aiming to spend about £250 (but I can stretch a bit for the right thing).
I'm pretty set on 22 frets, a maple fretboard and a single coil in the bridge. I'd like to avoid customs with the massive pickguard but after that I’m pretty open to whatever brands/colours/pickups/dings.
I’m in Cambridge and happy driving a sensible distance. I’ll be up in Carlisle in a few weeks so I can start from there too.
Thanks for looking.
Edit: found myself a slightly beaten up player tele within budget
Comments
Thanks but loads (all?) Squiers are off the table for me as they're 21 fret. I know there are plenty of 22 fret alternatives in Jet/Sire/Vintage but I wanted to see if there was anything more interesting around here before I pull the trigger on one of those.
My daughter has the 40th anniversary Tele and I must say it’s ridiculously good

I know that it doesn't meet your requirements at all other than single coil pickup in the bridge. Pickups are Tonerider Hot Classics too
Cheers
