Cheap ... because it's got some cosmetic issues. There's some torn tolex on the corners and the grille cloth is a bit ghetto.

But it sounds gorgeous. IIRC, the circuit has been partially 'blackfaced' - it's a common mod to turn these into a Vibroverb. One of the few Fenders of this era with a Middle control. It's an export model so it has the correct UK/European/US multi-voltage mains transformer.

Serviced with new filter caps and a new set of JJs with very little playing time.

    I have some aged silver face grill cloth if anyone is thinking of re-clothing. Bought it from Tube Town but they have a minimum spend of £180 or something so I bought some spare in case I messed it up.

    I used to have one of these when I started gigging in the 70’s along with a huge matching 2x12 cab. I recall the tone controls were excellent but at 50w it wasn’t really loud enough for a rock band. Lovely sound though.
    I sold the whole thing for £100

    Great amps these. Put it through a 2x10 cab and you are very close to a Vibrolux Reverb, 2x12 cab, a Pro Reverb. Plus you have a mid control. The chassis also fits perfectly into a Super Reverb cab. Loads of options
