Here we have a rather remarkable guitar, a 2019 nitro finished McCarty 594 Singlecut semi-hollow, produced by PRS for 1 year only, and coming in at a featherweight 7,7lbs.

The fabulous CopperheadBurst finish was also a one off, and gives this guitar a majestic and somewhat understated quality, which is matched by the unique tonality of the Low Turn 58/15 pickups. Even with birds, this is far from some of PRS's more, ahem, sudden colour schemes and finishes.

The semi-hollow, single F-hole design gives a wonderful airiness to the sounds available, further enhanced by the coil taps on both bridge and neck pickups. Check out Brian Ewald from PRS as he demos this model (very accurately, IMO):
