but £75 for a "basic" guard - not a cats - think I paid about £35 for my last strat guard
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
Every days a school day etc...
Now for my new venture - Corned Beef Cash
At the moment I'm looking for:
* Hamer SS2 & T62
* Music Man Luke 1
Please drop me a message.
(full disclosure I have never spent that much on a pickguard and don't have a Spitfire, but I've paid north of £100 for stuff from Lava, Avantguard, and even a vintage 60s Jazzmaster guard)
I'll stick to my £35 ones, and spend the rest on more important things, like solid gold truss rod cover
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
I think they were only £25. I bought a couple so I plan on changing over once a year which would be almost like having a new guitar
"Pickford Guards, you get in here this minute!"
"There'll be no Pickford Guards on *my* Les Paul!"
Everyone's entitled to their opinion but Fender's current idea of tort is so far from what tort should actually be that it's almost mis-selling.
Regardless of that, he should not be blaming you for the damage, or blocking an unhappy customer.
