SCAMMER WARNING: Due to a spate of recent scam attempts (some successful) recently, if you're doing a deal in the classifieds, ONLY USE PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT INDIVIDUAL PERSONALLY. It's really not worth saving a few quid.
Gone - 1983 JV Squier Stratocaster
What's Hot
Possibly the best looking relic refin I've seen, and no idea who did it.
It's a dirty green aged sonic/ daphne blue.
Pickups are Bareknuckle 59 Slab and £300 new - check out the wiring which is a work of art to me (if you're in to wiring - nudge nudge wink wink)
Bridge is Callaham, so that's another £200 new.
Fretboard is lovely and dark and the shape is very similar to an original 1962 strat I played years ago.
Setup is absolutely superb and it bends to the bottom and feels amazing.
Lovely weight and feel.
So you've got a mix of original playability and feel, with modern top end bridge and pickups.

Oh, comes with a Levys soft case and the original trem arm.
New year clear out - this will take me down to two guitars!
I'm in Peterborough.
May trade for a Marshall 74x or loads of pedals. Or a bag of magic beans.

The finish is actually crackled in places, not like a fender journeyman but not like an old guitar. Could pretty much pass as original finish. Looks even better in the flesh.
