I have decided to get shut of my Epiphone casino, not digging the neck (too narrow/thin) so i'm looking for something with P90's.
I also want to try out another hollow body for recording acoustically but still would like to plug it in and record through an amp.
A few pre-requisites:
Light body
Medium Jumbo frets
Rosewood or ebony fretboard (NOT MAPLE)
£1000 or less
Decent pickups (obviously)
I have a JV modified 60's fender tele that has a neck I dig a lot, so something similar to the thick Soft "V" maple neck and 9.5" radius fretboard, doesnt matter if its a touch bigger.
2nd hand or brand new I dont mind.
Edit: Already own an SG tribute so not really looking to get an SG special or Les Paul (plus the neck profile isn't what im looking for)
Edit 2: Looking at P90 Gibson les paul tributes.

As for a non-Gibson P90 equipped guitar - try a Fender Noventa series. IMHO, they were a bit odd but they sounded OK.

I played a Revstar P90 at the weekend, sounded and felt great. Stainless steel frets as well.
