I was exceedingly content, Cream T Aurora & McRosie, when something came up on the radar. One in, one out so the Aurora got part exchanged....

Probably the feel more than anything, I have a love for Rosewood necks. It sounds pretty good too but the McRosie is a far better looker.

Absolutely beautiful, HNGD. Looks in your pic like there’s no faux binding though?

Edit: just seen it on the Sound Affects website where it came from and it does have faux binding, excellent!

Great score. In my recent thin out I had to choose between my me1 and Murphy Les Paul. I kept the Les Paul even though the me1 was the way better guitar, just because of the amount I’d have lost on the Les Paul.
They're superb guitars for that single cut sound, though Paul hadn’t nailed the coil splits at all at that stage.

It definitely needs modern knobs.

I think I’m a convert to a 594 but I still think I need an ME1 at some stage.

Considered the modern knobs, as well as the modern wiring update, but having done both of these on the McRosie (definite improvement) I think I'm going to keep the ME1 as factory original

I actually stared with a 594 and converted to McCarty.
