I put new strings on yesterday. I am now getting all the sounds that my expensive gear is supposed to produce.

Please remind me not to leave my strings on for two years again.

Only 2 years, my flats have been on for over 25 years and they are just starting to sound nice

The benefit of flats of course is that you can't tell if the bass is out of tune or not

I'll probably be dead in 25 years, so leaving my strings on for that long would save me from a chore. Thanks for the tip.
