My Mrs was doing a boot sale with me as her unwilling helper so when we got her gear out I mooched around to see what I could find and came across  a chap selling old books  at a pound each so I bought all he had on guitars and was pleased to find something to read whilst there.

Some good reading there for three nicker!

I thought this read as 'Three Guitars for a pound!' That would be one hell of a bargain.

I've got the Duchossoir Strat book, still a very good source of info although it's 40 years old!

So I have just found out.

Quoted £80 - £120 in good condition from a Burns expert on another site.  :o

It will certainly be going after reading.

Gobsmacked at such a price - shows what I know or don't know

I suppose late 70's and during the 80's I purchased so many of such books - Think for a while I read them all and used many as a reference as/when required - Then ended up with far to many, plus WWW gave us quicker access and often more accurate/updated info, so I sold most of my books at various guitar shows - I still have a few, but TBH not sure when I last looked at any - As I said WWW is my reference so often these days, as required - But equally, such books, on the shelves, help to show any visitor a bit about who you are and as such give you some 'identity'
