Played my SGV yesterday and today, very different to a Tele, but very nice too.

So I just did a comparison between the Crafter and the PRS-SE on a VOX Acoustic and a normal amp.
To my ears the Crafter delivers the better acoustic-sound and the lesser magnetic Lipstick sound,
the PRS is lacking a bit of the Piezo tones, though a real electric guitar with the two HBs.
The PRS is #1 for me, the Crafter is #2.
I might keep both and sell another one (ot two) of my 'Cheapo' guitars.

That's great.  A Tele with a Strat headstock is a fine thing.  Plus block inlays.  Plus a great colour.

Apart from appearing to be a Deluxe Thinline, what is the exact model?
It's a partscaster frankenstein job, the body is some copy I bought years ago, but I changed it to that different neck, put a different bridge on, drilled it for string through and added the humbuckers, so there is, as far as I am aware, no actual Fender model like that.

Working from home today, so having a sneaky go at slide between meetings.

Man, I absolutely suck at slide…..

    Eastwood Delta 6.

As with all Eastwood/Airline guitars I’ve played/owned, a cracking guitar, fab build quality, sounds different to all the other jelly-mould guitars.

What are the controls on the Crafter? I assume that it has volume and EQ for the piezo, but what about the Lipstick PU?

that's all you get, the Volume and EQ works for both pickups
you can blend them in & out

    Heavily modded Gretsch Tennessee Rose.

The Electrotone body with the waffle bracing makes it sound relatively dark compared to other Gretsches.

The Bigsby and rocking bar bridge didn’t work for me at all, quite muddy/boomy. The Tuneomatic and floating tailpiece give a much tighter sound.

Used these two last night and a gig last month as the AC50 is currently out of action.
If you like that '60s/'70's rock guitar sound, Keith Richards, Angus, Jimmy Page, etc and get the chance to buy one of these amps...snap it up! Last two gigs I've chosen this over my Carr Mercury V...that's how good these amps are. Not for the faint hearted as they are quite brutal.
Both gigs had comments on how good the guitar sound was...obviously the 335 helps a little :)

Today’s muse is my Vintage SG.
This is one of my all time favourite guitars.  Play’s fabulously, sounds awesome, love the trem.
Wouldn’t change a thing about it.
My luthier (who is close friends with Trevor Wilkinson) said it’s a Vintage Pro Shop prototype.
