Faulty HRD ..help needed please

What's Hot
BarneyBarney Frets: 628
Just been to rehearsal again after thinking a new tube had fixed this fault but it seems as though it needs to heat up before it happens

IV linked a video of the sound the fault makes ...any advice would be really appreciated...I didn't touch the inside of the amp even when off I don't know anything about other than to keep my fingers out..it was just visual to see iff I could see anything

That sounds like the large resistors that provide the low voltage supply  - that runs the effects loop and reverb buffers are suffering from bad joints ...very common on these amps

You can spot these resistors quite easily, they are the 2 white ones side by side 2 seconds into your video

Thanks ...it seems as though it will need to go to a amp tech ...I tried swapping valves but just really the same ....I did notice the circuit board where the resistors are brown on the circuit board ... wondering iff it is just loose ....I think either way it won't be something I would be confident messing with

If it’s going to a tech, also ask for it to be set to 240V supply voltage - the factory setting is 230V - that makes them run cooler and more reliably as well, including these resistors not getting as hot.
