    @ThorpyFX what is the difference between the MK I and MK II?
    we changed the internal power arrangement from 9v to a regulated and stable 18V for some elements and a whole host of other voltages for other parts inside. this means that everything is optimised to deliver the different voltages required for the different parts in the MKII. The MKII uses a different BBD that has higher headroom than the MKI. sonically they are near identical.

    Thanks for the info. I’d like to try one sometime. The black faceplate over chrome is preferable for me too.
