SOLD - Flynn Amps Tweed Deluxe

With no movement on my Pro Jr (see here... http://www.thefretboard.co.uk/discussion/19019/fs-fender-pro-jr-in-a-custom-2x10-pine-cab#latest) so I'm now considering one of my other amps. First up, a very lovely Tweed deluxe from Flynn Amps. It's based on a 1957 spec and looks and sounds just like this.

Based in Edinburgh.

Would trade for a good quality head or £700 delivered.

My technical skills don't reach putting panels either way up... or down. I'm guessing the professional advice is, "Generally, don't go poking your fingers into holes in the back of amps."

Take the 4 screws out, turn the panel round so as the "viewing holes" are at the bottom, replace 4 screws. No more death trap!

Sorry... I was just kidding. I put it right way round last night. I'd never noticed it was upside down before. I'll upload the evidence later. I'm really dead technical, like. And I hammered the screws back in no problem.

What's the speaker in these?

It's an unbranded speaker but judging by the familiar rubber collar I'm pretty sure it's an Emincence. I'll maybe check with Flynn Amps and see what they say. But is sounds very nice.

Just thought I interject here 'cos I have been speaking to flynn amps and he said these amps ship with a Weber speaker. Although it might have been changed in its lifetime by someone else etc.

By the way I have a flightcase for sale that would fit this amp if anyone is interested. Sorry shameful plug but I thought it was relavant at least relevant

Cheers. I'll take it out and have a look. I'd think it most likely is the original speaker. Any more info on the flightcase? Price? It's looking like I might end up keeping this and selling the Gartone 45.

I'd keep the Deluxe. If hadn't already have a J20 I would have bitten your arm off for it.

Yep. I'm going to hold on to it for now. I even just bought some new valves. So consider it no longer for sale... for now!
