Last Monday my palms of my hands felt like they were on fire. Then they started to peel and itch. The burning stopped after a couple of days but left a sort of sensation like you get when you rub your hands together on a cold day. That same sensation started on the soles of my feet
Saw my GP on weds and he said it was a reaction to a viral infection (?) it's mow Saturday and it's not got any better, infact its worse and the same sensation is across my shoulders and I think cheek bones.
Needless to say the thought of any neurogical disorder has sent me into anxious free fall - off up to out of hours clinic in a sec
Must resist googling as I know it will say motor neurone disease, spinal cancer, multiple sclerosis, certain death

I never google syptoms. See a doctor, andlet them make a (usually) more accurate diagnosis.
I never google syptoms because a symptom can be a sign of many things. IE pain in the left side can be appendicitis. Or trapped wind. See, one's serious, one's a good fart.

*and coming from a random avatar of a guinea pig on a Segway on a guitar forum it probably isn't!

Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
Conversely, as a direct result of using Google, I discovered I had hyperthyroidism, when several GPs missed it. Albeit, I have some basic medical knowledge.
Problem with GP's is, they see everything possible, you should have been sent to a specialist.

I remember my cancer diagnosis. It was noted as a cist and of no importance. Having worked in medical imaging, I viewed the tumour on the screen during my US scan with my own eyes. The person who claimed it was a cist, was the hospitals top clinician for oncology.
Scary stuff goes on within the NHS.
I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd
