New Baby Day that is!

My son Leo arrived yesterday at 10:02am. 8lb 12


Birth went really well, 9 hours from start to finish in the pool without any drugs (first one was 19 hours with various drugs and surgical interventions). 

Anyone listening to Ken Bruce today would have heard about him as he was discussed at length today having been born with the show on in the background (my wife doesn't see labour as a reason to miss Pop Master). 

And for anyone wondering yes the name is related to a certain Mr F.

    Interestingly the midwife said "How early is he" and I said "He's not early he's 7 days late", but he was covered in vernix (for non parents he looked like he'd been dipped in cottage cheese) which suggests he was early so I suspect that they got the date wrong at the scan and he wasn't late after all.
