.........and I was getting all excited about some of the seriously nice toasters in a big, fuck-off shopping mall yesterday. They all had big, deep slots (oooooh!), more than enough to take a British standard shitbox white bread slice, until the missus reminded me that they won't work in the UK 'cos they're 110 volts.
