Yamaha Les Paul Model LP-800 Custom (1970s, Black Beauty)
Here a relatively rare Yamaha Lord Player, the 1970’s version of Japanese Yamaha version of the Les Paul model, these guitars were produced during the 1970’s till the early 1980s, along the well-known Yamaha SG range which was made famous by guitarists like Carlos Santana, Phil Manzanera, Al DiMeola, John McGeogh, Stuart Adamson, Bob Marley, Andy Taylor and many more….
This Yamaha LP-800 Custom was produced in Yamaha’s Matsumoku’s Custom shops and was deemed one of the top types of the Les Paul (SL/LP) range. The guitar sports a solid body, fitted with a set neck, gold hardware, dual metal covered Yamaha Humbuckers and sound arrangement with coil tapping option for a wide tonal control. The guitar body is decorated with mother of pearl fret markers and cream binding that has beautifully aged to a cream yellow hue. Lord Players and similarly the Studio Lords were much more than Yamaha’s Les Paul copies, these were solid quality guitars built from quality wood and materials. The Yamaha Les Paul models were produced with two main types, the Lord Players (LP’s) and the Studio Lords (SL). Whoever owns one of these vintage machines will acknowledge their appearance, playability and quality feel with vintage vibe….Postage in UK approximately £37. Price £850 ONO, Location Berwick upon Tweed. Photo’s see: http://elitevintageguitars.com/2015/01/23/yamaha-les-paul-model-lp800-1970s-black-beauty/

Yamaha SG-700s (Translucent Dark Green, mint condition).
On offer a Yamaha SG-700s in Translucent green finish, this is the rocky little brother of the acclaimed Yamaha SG-2000 that was developed back in the 1970’s, but without the fancy mother of pearl fret marker inlays and binding purfling; the guitar plays like a dream, light and fluid, with very low action. The guitar is less heavy than the SG1000 or 2000 series with a set neck and rosewood fret-board. It is a very pretty guitar as the translucent green shows up under certain lighting conditions, the guitar has hardly seen any use as there is no tarnishing of any of the the pristine gold hardware. Although the guitar may feel different from the more acclaimed SG2000, it is an awesome player. Comes with Hiscox hard case. Price £ 785 ONO, Location Berwick upon Tweed.

Vintage 1970s Yamaha SG-500 in black finish, fair condition.
Excellent electric guitar with a good solid feel, plays light and fluid with low action and a vintage vibe. Solid mahogany body with maple carved top, fitted with a mahogany bound set neck, rosewood fret board with split mother of pearl position markers, Chrome Hardware and Tuning pegs, with plain stop tail. The sound comes from 2 high output Humbucker pickups in black plastic, with black surrounds. Yamaha SG-500s were made in translucent red and black and were good solid guitars in their own right although guitarists may be more familiar with their more famous brothers SG-1000 and SG-2000. However, anyone who wants an SG and does not want to fork out a “Kings Ransom” will be pleasantly surprised by the vintage feel, playability, sound and quality of this axe. Price £650 ONO, Location Berwick upon Tweed

Yamaha SG 800 (Walnut Brown, 1979)
On offer a vintage Yamaha SG-800 electric guitar, there is some genuine play wear and three are some scratches and marks on the guitar body, however, all the electric components work flawlessly. The Yamaha SG-800, like the Yamaha SG-700, is a brother of the now very well renowned and famous Yamaha SG-2000, Yamaha SG-1000, and the lesser known Yamaha SG-1500. All top class vintage instruments and getting increasingly harder to find. The SG-800 was introduced as the follow up from the Yamaha SG-700 and was produced from 1979-1981. It was the successor to the SG700 which was released in 1976. Like its heavier predecessor the Yamaha SG700, it has excellent playability and low action with great tonal range, due to Coil Tapping options. Comes with gig bag, Price £735, Location Berwick upon Tweed.

Hiya, these are new adverts, some of the old stuff didn't sell....and I may decide to keep.
I tried the image links and for some reason it seems to work for me; I am a novice when it come to IT, tried Imgaur and some other photo down load programs, to no avail. You mentioned earlier "Also, taking the few seconds to copy and image link and post it here directly, rather than encouraging traffic to your own site is slightly lazy imo and also toes the line of Rules 3 & 11".,.. would be handy if someone could show me... Cheers J...
