tele bridge on a lpj?

What's Hot
i'd been thinking of ordering a gs1 with a tele bridge and pickup. but i already have several guitars and can't really justify spending the money on a guitar unless it will hold its value.

a sheridan (aka westfield) lpj-type has come up locally for a resonable price. just wondering if i'd be able to install the tele bridge myself.

any ideas?

It depends on the neck angle.

If the guitar has a tunomatic or wrapover then you probably can't fit a telecaster bridge.

  • the guitar has a wrapover. what issues are there if neck angle is not good enough? could string trees help?

  • The wrapover bridge is much higher off the body than a Tele bridge. You'd have to raise the saddles very high to get the action right.

  • And what's wrong with a wrap over anyway?
