Why can't I write paragraphs on an iPad on this form

It seems to spew everything into sentences with no paragraph breaks.

when you want to do a paragraph edit the source and type in a <br>

Yes. The whole text editor plugin is due for replacement. Just as soon as we can find something that works better.

The text editor is fucked and is unfixable as far as I can see (the way it works is fundamentally incompatible with Android)

There is another plugin available, but it's less functional without a load of work to improve it which I don't have time for.

There is a new official editor coming from Vanilla, but it's not released yet.

Any help gratefully recieved.
