Some guy has been caught playing bass whilst driving - this is why they shouldn't be allowed more then 4 strings, they get ideas above their station.


Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

    In a slow moving traffic queue, could you think of anything better to do? I used to try tapping paradiddles with my fingers on the steering wheel but somehow that activity never held my attention very much and after a few minutes I'd realise that I hadn't tapped a paradiddle for the last 1/4 of a mile.

    Many years ago, I knew someone who read the newspaper while driving on the M11... that in itself was not the issue, the fact it was The Sun made me angry.


    You'd think a broadsheet was a better quality experience !

    That was my first thought, but I think it's just the angle the picture was taken from - you can see his right hand is on the right of the wheel (obviously to stay in control of the vehicle!) and his left hand is on the guitar's neck.

    You'd never catch a bassist with their instrument out of the case unless they were being paid for it.
