After dealing with a long list of first world problems following the purchase of my new house, I can finally start planning the finer details of my man-isolation-station.

I have carpet in there. But should I rug that shit up or what?

If you plan on selling any guitars you will need a leather sofa on which to photograph them.

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I went the Ikea option for my man room, big shaggy rug in black though I bought it mainly as somewhere for the dog to sleep while I play guitar and smoke.

    Especially not for rugs.

Individually threading each strand through the backing material is the most demanding IKEA build I've ever undertaken.
