Football is rubbish.
Judging by the ethusiasm of the crowd it certainly wasn't recorded in London. Frampton is playing like a cross between Eddie Van Halen and Gilmour. Just incredible. As much as I love some of his other line ups it's pretty hard to find a solid argument for there being a better pairing.
As you're aware I know Gabrels very well.
I asked him about Erdal Kizilcay who played on this and the S and V tour.
Reeves said that Erdal is the most gifted muso he's ever met. At 9, he went to the Vienna Auditorium on a schlarship. At 12 he had a degree, 14 a docterate and at 18, he became a professor.
Seemingly he is virtuoso on every single thing you can throw at him- ine of the best drummers around too!
Amazing talent.

I remember watching it at Maine Road, Man City's old ground. Yeah, I agree, it was a very professional show and a very good band.
Actually, it did rain a little but Bowie looked heavenward and it stopped and the sun came out. It did. Honestly. I wasn't even stoned.
