Any pre 2005 Standard's out there in the South West? Not looking for Classic's or Traditional's but alternatively I'd love a Studio Premium Plus in root beer finish and also a faded Standard. No solid colours and preferably Honey, Light, Tobacco or Heritage Cherryburst. Got £1250 max

May have spoken to you already as I've had it up on Facebook etc. I don't live in the South West, however I'm gigging in Beiuli over the weekend if that's any good to you. Let me know if you're interested, if not good luck with your search.

T o be honest it doesn't actually fit the brief except the fact it's a Les Paul. It's a 2007 and it's been kicking around the Forum and Facebook a few times I believe. Spencer said he'd bring it over to let me have a look and I couldn't believe how well set up it was. This is my 8th Les Paul and it's the only one I haven't had to tinker with to get it to play right within 20 minutes of having it. Plays like you imagine a £2000 guitar should ( but from Gibson normally don't ). Loads of little weeny lacquer dings and a bit of buckle rash but I didn't want a minter. I wanted something to gig with and prop up against an amp without worrying I was going to mark it and it was cheap enough to make it worth a try and I'm happy I did.
