FS Musicman Axis Supersport. Price drop £750
What's Hot
Hi there fellow sufferers of the eternal GAS pains. I'm looking to sell my Musicman Axis Supersport. I'm sure most of you know the specs, but just in case:
Basswood body with translucent orange bookmatched flame maple top and matching headstock
Birdseye maple neck with rosewood fingerboard
Custom Dimarzio humbuckers
2 point Musicman trem
Sperzel locking machineheads
Earvana nut
Original hard case
Just a fantastic guitar in great condition. I've gigged it a few times, but I'm always careful with my guitars. There is a little fret wear, but nothing much. The case has a couple of scapes on the bottom side from being loaded into the car, but again, this is really nothing serious.
Why am I selling? Honestly, I just find the narrow nut width a little cramped. It's 41mm and feels wrong to my hands, but that's hardly the guitar's fault. It's pure preference on my part.
Beyond that, it sounds and plays wonderfully for any musical style with the five way switch splitting the humbuckers and giving Strat and Tele like tones.
Local pickup or delivery (I'm in Inchture by Dundee) would be preferred although postage can be arranged within the UK if needed. Looking for around £750.
Apologies for the pictures, I am no photographer.
Cheers.

Bump for a fellow Dundee forumite (small world !)
and a very classy looking guitar
\m/Another bump.
So little love for a great guitar!
Yeh, UK don't have a lot of love for EBMM guitars but they are just class... I did have 6 of them now down to 4. Some incredibly great players use them pretty much as they come out the factory too & that says all you need to know. Only company I know that make an artist signature guitar you buy the same as the artist uses.
A lot of guitar for the money but that's the way the market is at moment. Great buy for someone. Good luck.
Cheers
Baz
It is a class guitar. EBMM are one of those brands that seem to do every well on a consistent basis. I've never seen a "bad" one. Were it not for the narrow (to my mind and fingers) nut I wouldn't sell it.
But, as you say, the market is what it is right now.
Cheers,
Iain
Willing to listen to sensible offers. GAS has bitten rather hard.
As it is, I have my little eye on a couple of things locally so am really looking for sensible cash offers at the moment.
All the best with your listing.
It's going nowhere!
