I didn't use the trem but the extra weight helped with the balance. The toggle blend pot was a thing of sonic beauty. Gibson really should utilise it more. Hopefully one day I'll be able to buy another. I've seen some identical to my old one without trem that id prefer but really that blend toggle switch made it, especially with the coil taps.
Les Paul's with a Bigsby B7 are a thing of beauty IMO.
Seeing Neil Young live, the tone he got out of Old Black and his Tweed Deluxe was just phenomenal.
He is one of my favourite guitarists of all time.
Give me a Neil Young solo over any JB, Satriani, Vai etc. tosh any day.
