In short, it was great. Kotzen shone as always with his playing and vocal talent. Even though he has now ditched the plectrum his legato and fast runs are still there, plus he has an inate rootsy nature to his style that the fingers seem to enhance.
Sheehan was Sheehan, solid as, lots of harmonics and a bass solo that did nothing for me but was technically impressive.
Portnoy was a revelation, great drummer but very funny chap too, he seemed to act like the frontman, even though he was stuck at the back most of the time.
Sound was good, Kotzen had a really good tone, and all seemed to be from his Tele and a couple of Cornford RK100 heads (plus a flyrig I expect) and his fingers, of course.
Great vesion of Moonage Daydream as an encore too.
All in all, I'd score it a 9 out of 10 - for what it's worth!
