What is the 'best', easily available, cable for guitar/bass to amp?

All the cables I use are old and some of them have become a bit microphonic. Most are way over ten years old and got fair home use. My fortnightly music sessions with friends has highlighted some cable problems so I plan to buy two cables, each around three metres. I prefer straight jacks both ends. Budget is up to €75 for the two. I gather that Kabl cables are no longer being made so which is the best cable that can be got through a shop (bricks and mortar or online)? Thanks.

I have used designacable and found them reliable. Choice of Van Damme and Sommer cable, Neutrik jacks, custom length and colour.

Two more cables refused to work for me last evening. They both have Neutrik jacks fitted so the cables themselves seem to have built in failure factored into their build.

Thanks @mart, I noticed this before but I want straight jacks both ends. The suggestion of @guitarfishbay is likely to be where I will purchase cables.

Avoid Planet Waves.  I've found them unreliable.  My curly Monster cable is great, but I can't see how you can go wrong with hand-made cables made from decent components.
