No you've misunderstood, I have to do that for the audience to see me.

Rings, bracelet, watch, they all get taken off and thrown in a pocket.

I've explained all this. I didn't realise it was my pocket. Genuine mistake.

I keep em on. Doesn't seem to make any difference.
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

    Watch off, ring on.
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

never taken mine off since I got married in 2012. It felt odd at first but then felt like normal after a couple of weeks

Only took mine off when I got divorced. Genuinely loved wearing it - never got in the way at all (though I chose a very thin one).
    Wife or ring?
    The latter.

The former got bigger over time....

My ring doesn't normally worry me. If I'm playing the Fly, which has a very thin neck, then it can touch the fret ends if I slide up the neck. On all my other guitars it doesn't.

Never ever bothered me. I do take my watch off when playing though, but that's because I wear it on my right wrist.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

There's an easy way to avoid this damaging your guitar - simply learn to play left-handed....

I'd give my right arm to be able to do that...

I wear my wedding ring, almost never gets in the way. Don't know if anyone's noticed but Steve Hackett wears a band on his right hand pinkie which he uses as a occasional slide effect while playing?

I'm fine with a watch on but agree on stuff in trouser pockets. Phone, wallet and keys always go somewhere safe

Another issue, which I'd forgotten about until now, with wearing a watch on my strumming hand is that the pickups will pick up the electric pulse from a battery-powered watch and it can be heard through the speakers.

Probably something Johnny Greenwood would use deliberately....
