It was a nice Guitar before the Plastic Tuning Pegs crumbled, but I haven't the need to refurbish it. My Grandfather bought it for my Father when on holiday in Spain and he then played it up until his 30s.

Is it ply or solid top? I can't quite see in the pic. But it's definitely ply back and sides, and when it was made the combination of that and a solid top was unusual, so I would guess ply if you can't tell.

The bad news is that it's not in great condition - actually the machineheads are cheap to replace, you can buy a decent set for £15 or less. The fingerboard and frets need a fair bit of work and it may need a new nut.

Based on that I would say £50 at most, possibly less on the open market. Which is a shame, as it will probably sound quite nice when it's sorted out. Old ply classicals are just not worth much though unfortunately.

Yeah I was thinking £50-£60 too.

It is a Solid Spruce Top, but I don't know enough about Fretwork to consider investing in it and I don't really play Classic Guitar - Used to play Bass on it as a kid.

    Thank you
