Skateboard grip tape on your wah/expression pedal?

For some reason I feel compelled to do this - anyone else done it?

I've had in the past...but I don't have a Wah anymore...and I just used spare grip tape I had laying about...

it it is good..if you use Wah...I also put it on my picks so i don't keep dropping them!

Doesn't that hurt? Unless grip tape has gotten softer since I last went skateboarding?

To get the full benefit of the grip tape, I also put little wheels on my wah.
