Selling up a few things to go the Helix LT route and this is now on the block. So for sale is my Peavey Vypyr VIP3.

Looking for £150  plus buyer pays for courier. May trade now for anything interesting.

It is in decent condition and is on the most current firmware. The only detraction is a couple of the plastic corner protectors are cracked or gone.

It came to me like this and is purely cosmetic, they do seem overly brittle to me though so may be better fitting better ones. It never bothered me though as I used it just at home.

It is 100 watts  of modelling amp that can be used for Bass and acoustic as well as electrics. It has a faux 12 string model as well as one that makes your electric guitar emulate an acoustic. It is certainly one of the best modelling amps I have tried and loads of Youtube vidoeos are out there to give a feel for it.

It has a power soak/sponge thingy which is handy for using it at home or smaller venues. It is also very light indeed.

It has allsorts of amp and FX models in it and has software to setup the patches (all 400 of them) via your PC/MAC via the onboard USB connection. You can also jack in an MP3 player or similar to jam along with and a headpones socket so you don't annoy the neighbours at night.

There is a dedicated Peavey foot controller or three for live use (Sanpera I and Sanpera II as well as the Sanpera Pro) and I believe it can be controlled via MIDI/MIDI foot controller too. There is an onboard looper that you can only access via the foot contollers or by MIDI.

It is easy to program from the front of the amp due to the WYSIWIG interface and easy ways to select the various modellign elements.

The amp is in Inverness for anyone close enough but I will courier at the buyer's cost.
