Any Alnico 2 Blitz Spirit owners here?

Looking for a sparkle and a hollow/open tone on my Orville 335 and am considering a pair of Ash's Oil City Blitz Spirits. Ash mentioned that a some of you guys own them so are best placed to judge if they would give me the sound I'm looking for. 
Any of you chaps out there able to to give me some feedback?

I haven't tried an Oil City yet but it's on my list to do.  I was going to order an Alnico 4 Blitz Spirit after emailing  Ash for some advice but got rid of the guitar it was for instead (unfortunately).  I haven't read a bad review yet though.  They are very well priced and he offers your money back if you don't like them so surely it's worth a try.

I know, they're excellent value and Ash has a great reputation so I've no doubt his pups are the mutt's nuts (hey I like that phrase).

But cos I'll be wiring into a 335 which is a sod of a job, it would be nice to get some reviews cos once their installed I really don't want to have un-install them if they're not to my personal taste.

Cant help with the blitz but his cows sound real good in my Riviera

TBH Iv hearn nothing but good things about all his pickups.

I bought a set of his P90s for a friend's christmas and to say he is delighted would be an understatement. Service was excellent aa well.

I'm sure Ash's pickups are great. Ultimately though it's your ears that have to be the judge and do the testing!
