The very, very early ones had a 100mfd res cap which is technically too big for an EZ81 but unless you get fuses popping all right to stay as is. If you did want to mod it, easy. Two caps, 100mfd and 47 mfd, swap 'em over.
You need a decent PI valve for low hum and a good, low hiss, non miccy ECC83 first stage end but after that nothing to tell you.
