GT8 FX Floorboard

Hi - Can anyone help? I'm trying to get my GT8 connected to my Mac to use the software FX Floorboard through a midi/usb and it simply won't acknowledge its existence. Searched online for driver software but can't find anything. Any help gratefully accepted. Thanks

There used to be a forum for the Boss units but I can't find it.

Also, I don't know if this is relevant but did you buy it new or used and could it be down to a licence issue?

I had a similar problem connecting my GT8 to a PC.  You need a decent MIDI-USB cable; the first one I got (cheap as chips, forgot which brand) didn't work at all.  I got an M-Audio cable next, which did the trick.

The Boss forum is long gone, it disappeared around 3 years ago after a failed migration.
