If I had lots of spare dosh, I'd be interested in a National, but as I don't, I'm thinking about a charity-shop special I can put one of those 'nut extender' things onto, tune to open G and have a cheap (sounding) acoustic to practice/develop slide technique on.

So, for playing round the house and recording I've found myself reaching for my 90's Epiphone SG Korina. I think that this may be coz I did a bit of work on it; the action is now virtually nil and I've replaced the pickups with an 80's SD Pearly Gates and a DeArmond Gold Tone. It sounds and plays amazing.
I have three guitars I never play I'd happily sell but they aren't really worth anything much!
Electric: hard tail Strat. Been my most played guitar for the last 20 years.
Would love to find that Gretsch Panther I once played in a shop, which was gone by the time I had the money to buy it.
And I need a Junior.
