Don't mind Chappers at all …..no great guitarist but he has his niche
 However I am sure that Mr Anderton is also a nice chap and he runs a seaworthy ship BUT he is not a Captain nor is he right to self-entitle himself as such ……it's pretentious and cringeworthy
Remember …James Blunt was a Captain !!!!!!!!!! that sums it up but at least some military top Brass saw fit to bestow the commission .

Sorry to be a bore, I am not an avid reader or archivist so wasn't aware it had been covered "last May " .He seems like a very nice chap and I certainly don't mind Chappers  (both of which I said ).Still a silly aggrandisement tho

I do not think that a nickname, that is based on an unpublicised previous military career, is a silly aggrandisement.
