fed up with trying to repair mine as i'm rubbish.  fed up with buying crap or overpriced cables.

where and what do you buy?

I'm after about 4.5 m lengths - a mixture of right angle and straight jacks.  I need 4 as I use 4 cables coz of pedals running in the loop

cheers guys

  • Kabl gets good reviews.  No doubt they're made to last, and with top components.

I'm going to start making my own though.  You can get Van Damme instrument cable for a couple of quid per metre from eBay, and neutrik jacks from any electrical store.

I use Kabl as well. Think I got a 20 foot cable with 2 silent ends for under £25 and it's great.

  • I won mine in a competition. I highly recommend that approach.
Although still quite tempted by some pancake patch leads from Kabl.

  • Thomann.
Cordial with Neutrik jacks, 6m for under £15 - better than any other cable i've tried including elixir, whirlwhind, award session, monster and bullet and significantly cheaper than all of them as well.

I've got an Award Session one that's still going strong - good service. Wish he still made amps.
I hear Kabl are good ;)
After all this cable talk, I decided to buy some Sommer The Spirit XXL cable and some Neutrik jacks off Thomann. They sell it by the metre, but if you're making lots, it's cheaper just to buy the 20m Somer Spirit XXL ready-made-up cable from them and cut it up as required.
