Scabby partscaster that has some mojo, I think. Relatively flat radius neck from a Fender Highway One - I'd guess around 9 - 12? Very nice Mojo broadcaster bridge pickup and a decent neck pickup from a Levison Blade. The rest of the electrics have been upgraded to CTS, etc. Newish Wilkonson tuners and an old Tokai bridge. Comes in a decent case that doesn't properly fit the guitar and is minus one of the four clips but it will definitely keep the guitar safe in transit.

I lost interest in trying to get the photos back from Photobucket to repost but I can assure you that the headstock is about as normal as it gets. Uncrackled. Totally vanila telecasterish. Oh... I forgot to mention... nice fat frets too - medium jumbo or jumbo?

No idea. I bought it from here (or even back in pre-Fretboard/MR days) because I liked the colour. Weirdly, I like the crackles too, but I need to sell one of my two telecasters so it's back on the block. Does anyone here know?

I used to own that body! Bought it from a chap on eBay - the parts he'd used now reside on another tele of mine. I have no idea what "process" he used to do this but I did like it. Nice and resonant as I remember.

Just checked my old emails and the chap I bought it from had also bought it from eBay so the mystery continues.

    Here's how it once looked:

Cheers @redrighthand. It's much nicer than it looks - although I quite like how it looks. And it looks like it will be staying. BACK ON HOLD!

Do you still have the Danny Gatton pick ups and bridge?
Will that sticker around the neck pick up remove easily ?
Does it hide anything that we should know about?
Any idea of weight and neck profile?
    Ta.

Shame it hasn't got the same neck now - I'd have had that Esquire neck for my project ;)

No, the pickups are as specified. Great sounding pickups, though. There's nothing sinister about the sticker. It was an all areas backstage pass from Jack White's last tour that I had and I liked it. I ran it as an esquire for a while and used it to cover up the pickup hole but I kind of liked the sentiment so just fitted the pick up (or at least ICBM fitted it) through the sticker. I should peel off just fine but I haven't tried it. It weighs about 7.5lbs. The neck feels like a regular C-shape, medium to slim and definitely not a chunky baseball bat. I'll PM you both more pics.

Sweet partsocaster ON HOLD PENDING NEWS UPDATE!

I'd been coy about posting pics of the very lovely neck on this guitar because I had reason to think it might be a fake. However, I've since established that it might have been the only part of the original guitar that was genuine. I'm pretty certain it's the neck from a 2007 USA made Fender Highway One. Anyway, it has a lovely modern radius, jumbo frets and a nice thin nitro finish. That's the good news… the bad news is that it's now £425 delivered. :/
