Nothing as incredible as some of the projects here...but I've never so much as changed a pickup myself. I'm usually a complete disaster with a soldering iron.

But I had a fairly scruffy CAR MIM tele. Even at £250 I got no sniffs at a sale. So I had a poke in my parts box and found a SD mini bucker. I bought a scratchplate and thought I'd have a go. Whilst I was restringing I remembered some locking tuners so stuck those on as well. Not massive mods, but I think it has made a nice difference to the guitar...

I have a lil 59 bridge pickup on the way, so that's next!

Please with the visual difference, and love the mini bucker at the neck. Time to play with some more soldering now and put a strat together!

Nice! I put a black plate in place of the stock white one on my sunburst MIM Tele and it looks soooooo much better
