My older brother used one of these when he played in a band in the 70's so I know it's an original one.  There are some stupidly inflated prices on eBay but does anyone actually know what a working example would sell for?

Depends on condition. It's a very niche pedal though, so it may be up for a while before someone splurges. IIRC, I payed about £280 for mine, but it was in awful cosmetic condition. Fully working though. I've seen them go for north of a grand, but I have no idea who is paying that kind of scratch for them. The problem is there's so many accurate clones, it's more likely to go to a collector than a player and I don't really know what's trendy right now. I vaguely collect treble boosters but I actually use them rather than look at them.
