We decided not to make me a mod after all. TTony was well up for it, but Jalapeno and Digiscream felt I wasn't up to the job - my moral compass is warped, or something like that. I don't know they weren't very straight up about it to be honest. Seemed a bit like "it's not you, it's me" - oh well.

As one of those who've been here from the start, I feel I must pass on my personal acknowledgment to Emp for the 'lifeboat' provision which led to the creation of The Fretboard. Without it, my working life would have been far more productive, however.

I probably would have gone on to be a famous brain surgeon, astronaut, or rock star, made shedloads of dosh and retired to live in a Beverley Hills mansion surrounded by hookers and coke, instead of which I've pissed my life away on here and am forced to live on hand-outs from the food-bank in Margate.

Thanks for nothing mate, and I hope Pugsley pisses on your bath-towel again.
