Switchpick. The all new plectrum

What's Hot

edited August 2017 in Made in the UK
Hi
Ive been a pro guitar player/ teacher for over 30 years. In that time I have been musing over an
idea for what I feel is the perfect pick. Finally with the advent of modern technology myself and a design team have come up with what we believe is the ideal plectrum.
We are now going into production of the Switchpick. Please have a look at Switchpick.co.uk and see
what you think.
A few first production picks are on eBay for customers to try.
So far we are getting great feedback.
Thanks for looking.

If you really want an honest assessment of your guitar pick, send a dozen to the mods here, the mods could organise a raffle to see who gets to review them :)

Incorrect use of the reflexive pronoun.

    And no pics (pun intended).

And no listings on eBay for "switchpick".

    I'm out.

    Please, please, please ...

Make just a little effort to introduce yourself and explain your product and what makes it worth even a second of anyone's consideration.

You've got a forum full of guitarists here.  Surely your ideal market.

More than that, you've got a forum full of guitar related content that Google absolutely loves in its ranking algorithms, so content you put here will get a lot more ranking points than anything you could post on your own website.

You've got free access to that channel, no cost, no %, and unlimited time to make a pitch that will last as long as the internet.

And that's really the best you can do?
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

Your website doesn't work without the "www", but anyway, I've been to www.switchpick.co.uk and it certainly looks interesting.

It's worth mentioning that the concept is two thicknesses of pick in one go, which you seem to have missed in your opening post...

I'll be honest and say it doesn't appeal to me, but it's certainly a neat idea.

I bought a tin of 5 Switchpicks to try. Got to say they work well. Don't slip out of your fingers and they are easy to flip over to a different thickness, which is great on my acoustic. Hope it goes well

Do you sell them out of a suitcase on Peckham Market?

  • I've been researching and trying loads of picks recently and these seem like a similar concept to the Talon pick which I believe is used by Ben Higgins. Although I haven't tried one of those yet.

These look a bit too big for me. I prefer a Jazz 3 type size.
    It's not a competition.

I'd say you bought more than a tin of 5, given that you're one of the officers of the company.

OK, they screwed up here. Fred has been banned...but it's a common mistake from new/small companies. Let's see if they can rectify it, eh?

  • Hi all
I hold my hands up. We have screwed up and apologise. We are a new company and new to
the forum community. Please don't judge the product on my inexperience at marketing. First and foremost I'm a guitarist not a sales person.
Any constructive comments will be greatly appreciated.
