Popped into PMT and part ex'd my Ibanez for this Gretsch G5420TG today. I know it's "only" an Electromatic, and I will still buy a Cochran one day, but this is a ripping guitar. Cue obligatory picture on a wall hanger with the Hiroshige cat print next to it.

Beautiful! I liked my Gretsch, but really it was mainly for looking at as I couldn't play it for shit! Battling feedback on a hollow body was not my idea of fun yet!

Thanks, all! Will try and take some better pictures tomorrow in the light, it's a cracking candy apple red.
Feedback is controllable for me, I'm used to hollow bodies. The feedback is great when you coax it out though. After playing all the rockabilly licks I know, I basically played a bunch of Neil Young stuff until my wife told me to stfu.
It goes so well with my Princeton, it's illegal.
