It looks like you've pasted the .html address, the page for the image on 4shared, if you right click on it and 'copy image location' then that should give you the location for the actual picture (.jpg): http://dc653.4shared.com/img/P8uoZ4ekce/s3/1445531b588/Old_Bridge.jpg

Hey Alan, for a start you have not linked to a picture file, the address (URL) is for an HTML web page with loads of other stuff including adverts on it, so no wonder the forum system software is getting confused and giving you a "?"

http:// www.4shared.com/photo/P8uoZ4ekce/Old_Bridge.html   - is what you have given it.

I right clicked on the picture on that page and copied "Copy Image Address", I know it is an image as it has .jpg at the end (JPEG image file extension).  So I will paste this straight into the page (below) as I am typing.

Both of the web addresses you can see on this comment have a space entered after http:// otherwise they would not show as text, just as the "box with a ?" for the first one and as the picture below for the second one.  Do NOT put a space* into it yourself, I only did that for demonstrate purposes.  (I also highlighted them in red so they stand out)

    http:// dc653.4shared.com/img/P8uoZ4ekce/s3/1445531b588/Old_Bridge.jpg

This address is pasted in below (without the space* I put in above)

After you have done this yourself, refresh your browser / reload the page and you should see the picture.

Try editing your original post and changing the image address to see if it works for you, once you have "got it" it is really simple, honest.

(edit: pretty much what imagine (bloody auto correct - no it is) imalone  posted above)

    Hope that helps
    :)

  • I'm guessing that's the old bridge?  Or is it the new one?

Thanks guys,I will try again tomorrow, sorry for the cock- up. Yes that is the old bridge, the 6 saddle Fender that Gavin from Axecaster sent me dropped straight in. I spent the rest of the day trying to setup the saddle height and intonation. I am happy with the intonation but I think the saddle height could be better. Alan
