Tort guard for a Jag - recommendations?

Anyone got an recommendations? Spitfire stuff looks great but I guess it come in as £200 by the time you factor in delivery etc. So it's a bit steep - anyone recommend anywhere for a nice tort guard?

@Bennyboy-UK I've used them before - just you have to send off the guard.

It should fit on a Marr, though they shift a lot when they're off the body, so you want to buy one that's been screwed to some wood or similar.

What he said! I have an old one on my JM and aside from a hint of shrinking around the top horn and bridge post holes it's fine. I imagine a Jag might be a little more tricky due to the joins to the chrome bits, but in theory it'll work.

On Jacks, I sent an paper template rather than the guard. Came back perfect

I had an anodised gold guard (for a Tele) from Jack's. The fit is spot-on, as you'd expect. The problem is ensuring the tort material looks ok, it's difficult to tell from stock photos.

I got a mint green one of these from ebay, it's a little greener than I'd like but not bad at all. Fit (on my Classic 60s Lacquer Jag) was very good, needed a little filing on the bridge post holes, the rest lined up very well. They have two shades of tort, which don't look too bad. I might get one myself, they're cheap enough.

I've had a few guards from that seller, the plain coloured are fine but the tort ones aren't great. If you want tort that looks like old 60's tort Spitfire is the only option. (Apart from buying vintage!)

I've not seen any. Pretty much all come from the States so all end up in that landed cost ballpark.

Re. Spitfire. Sign up to OSG, and put a wanted thread on there. I got the one for my since departed avri JM that way. It was unused, and was £80 landed - I got a fair few replies pretty quickly too.
